Martyn Watson BA(Hons) MSc UKCP reg
Experience
Over the last 25 years I have companioned adults, couples, teens and families through life's ordinary and traumatic challenges towards growth and healing, working in various institutions and establishments including hospitals, prisons, hospices, addiction services and homeless centres. Much of this work has been in a multicultural setting providing long-term, and short-term therapeutic relationships, drawing on attachment, trauma, research and practice, humanistic philosophies, family systems theory and somatic (body/mind) approaches.
Qualifications
To support my therapeutic practice I have undertaken professional training at the Metanoia Institute, West London, and my qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Transactional Analysis counselling and an MSc in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy. I am also a qualified supervisor and trainer and qualified as an online counsellor in 2016 with OCST.

As a registered, fully qualified psychotherapist with UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) I am committed to ethical non-discriminatory practice and abide by the principles and ethics of the UKCP. I am also committed to lifelong learning recognising that the knowledge base in the field of psychological support is constantly changing providing opportunities for further development.
